Max Verstappen has got the world buzzing since amassing his extremely impressive fourth F1 world championship. Fans have come forward to shower praise on him, and amidst this, the McLaren outfit has also taken the time to acknowledge his might.

Until Las Vegas, Max Verstappen was in the 2024 title fight against the papaya-outfit’s Lando Norris. However, the former’s P5 outing at the Las Vegas street circuit was enough for him to end the noise around his fourth world championship.

Following the recent event, McLaren boss Andrea Stella showered huge praise on the 27-year-old.

There are always so many reasons why things can go wrong. Last year they, the driver and the team, were operating at a very high level. This year he often did not have the best car and he still often got the maximum out of weekends. That confirms that we have been living in the Verstappen era in recent years. He deserves it.

After Round 10, Verstappen’s next triumph came in Brazil in Round 21 because of the car issues.

It looked quite difficult at one point. In certain races, we simply came up really short, but in the end, we maximized in many places, where others of course let it slip. Since Miami, we really haven’t had the dominant car in most races. But in certain places, we’ve just performed a little bit better, and the other teams just haven’t done it right where they should have won. And that makes the difference.

After 22 rounds, Verstappen has so far amassed 403 points in the F1 standings alongside his fourth world championship. Red Bull is out of the constructors’ fight, and considering this, it is going to be fascinating to see how the reigning world champion would look at the remaining two events.
