The 2024 Dutch GP weekend has been in full swing. While the fans were treated to some insane qualifying action yesterday, there was an unfortunate incident as well that took place before the intensely contested session.
During the pre-quali track entertainment activities, a motorcycle stunt performer had a horrific crash. As the motorcyclist took off from the ramp, he misjudged the trajectory of the bike and as a consequence, had a hard landing straight onto the tarmac.

The crowd was left in shock and the moment the motorcyclist had the hard landing, his fellow motorcyclists came around to check on him. Moreover, just a few moments later, the guy was swarmed by medical personnel and the ambulance.

Considering the seriousness of the situation, the medical staff did their best to hide the motorcyclist along with the medical personnel giving him the required treatment. After the emergency treatment, the motorcyclist was rushed to the nearest hospital.
Stunt Motorcyclist ‘doing well’ after the serious incident
While there was tension and uncertainty among the crowd regarding the well-being of the motorcyclist, positive news arrived soon. Just 40-45 minutes after the incident, the Dutch GP organizers revealed via their X handle that the person involved in the incident was okay.

After the announcement of the update, fans from all over the world took to X to share their relief over the situation.

A lot has happened during the ongoing Zandvoort weekend. However, looking ahead, the highly anticipated 72-lap Dutch GP is just a few hours away with star drivers Lando Norris and Max Verstappen locking out the front row.
Keeping in view the recent history between the two, the dash from the start to Turn 1 could produce some explosive action. Moreover, Norris and Verstappen also have the opportunist Oscar Piastri starting right behind them so they will have to be quite careful.
