McLaren driver Lando Norris impressed the spectators with his qualifying result at the British Grand Prix. He and his teammate Oscar Piastri will start second and third on the grid for the race. Though it was Max Verstappen who secured the pole position and clocked his best lap time to outpace Norris, the Briton stole the show. One among the many people he impressed was the American media personality and businesswoman Paris Hilton.
Post-qualifying, Paris Hilton and Lando Norris caught up in an F1 Hilton event. After the duo exchanged pleasantries, Hilton congratulated him. She said, “Congratulations Honey, I’m so proud of you.” When asked who her favorite driver was, Hilton replied, “Obviously Lando.” The 42-year-old also added F1 rookie Oscar Piastri to the list. The McLaren drivers were second and third fastest ahead of Ferrari and Mercedes, leaving everyone in shock.
The McLaren F1 team and Hilton Hotels have had a multi-year partnership since 2005. McLaren F1 cars carry the hotel’s branding. Their long-term partnership brought Paris Hilton into the picture as she is the great-granddaughter of the founder of Hilton Hotels, Conrad Hilton. Though the Hilton Hotels don’t belong to the Hilton family anymore, Paris might be seen in Hilton events and hotel commercials.

The Miami Grand Prix was first held last season and was a glamorous event filled with A-list celebrities. Lando Norris and former McLaren driver Daniel Ricciardo were spotted with Paris Hilton and legendary tennis player Venus Williams. They attended a party hosted by Hilton Hotels after the qualifying. Hence, it is established that Lando Norris and Paris Hilton have known each other for quite some time.
The 2023 British Grand Prix qualifying was McLaren’s best result in over a decade. Though the team started this season on the back foot, they brought a major update to the Austrian Grand Prix. The upgrades include an engine cover, redesigned floor, and sidepod. The good news is that it seems to work, as Lando Norris finished fourth at the Austrian Grand Prix.
At Silverstone, both Norris and teammate Piastri shocked everyone with their performance. After the qualifying, the McLaren duo praised their team and were happy with the massive result. The Woking-based outfit hoped their upgrade would push them in the right direction, and turns out it did.
