The 50-year-old further stated the Silverstone-based team’s respect for Sebastian Vettel’s retirement plans. Aston Martin would not try to force its former driver from enjoying his new commitments. Mike said, “And, you know, I think this is also something that you have to respect. So let’s see what’s happening.” The Aston Martin boss mentioned Stroll to be the team’s priority. He continued, “He’s our Plan A obviously, we want to have Lance back in the car, but we have to wait.”

Subsequently, the British team is presently waiting for an update on Lance Stroll‘s condition. Mike continued, “what he says and what the doctors are saying in the right moment.” Albeit, Aston Martin has presently not decided on who will partner Fernando Alonso at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Krack said, “We have not made the final decision. That’s the point.”

Thus, fans from around the world would be hoping for Sebastian Vettel to come out of retirement for his 300th race. However, the priority remains on Stroll getting back to fitness for Aston Martin.
