Alfa Romeo is all set to end its tie with Sauber after the end of the 2022 season. Sauber and Alfa have been in a relationship for a good while now. But with Audi coming to play in 2026, Alfa might look for a better option to get the team the backbone needed. Alfa Romeo hasn’t been on a podium but has the capability to get there with a really good team. The only thing lacking for the team is a good project.

On Friday morning, Audi announced their entry in Formula 1 with the start of 2026. With the introduction of Audi, Alfa could manage to get a hold of Audi for their future endeavours. Alfa Romeo entered Formula 1 in 2017 returning after a long break. July 2022 they contain their partnership with Sauber for the 2023 season because of the good results they had in the first half of the season.
