AlphaTauri finds itself at the bottom of the constructors’ standings with just five points in the 2023 season. The team has faced many challenges, including frequent driver changes and poor performance. To bridge the gap between them and other teams, AlphaTauri has now strengthened its relationship with Red Bull to enhance competitiveness during the rebranding process.
In rebranding, Yuki Tsunoda‘s team plans to use the new aerodynamic resources from the UK-based structure along with new facilities. They also intend to incorporate several consumer parts from Max Verstappen‘s Red Bull into their car for the upcoming year. Additionally, the rebranded AlphaTauri will need to closely follow Red Bull’s regulations and F1 regulations for extending the use of certain parts.
Speculations emerged that AlphaTauri might use a clone of Red Bull’s RB19 for the 2024 season. However, AlphaTauri Technical Director Jody Egginton has downplayed these rumors, stating that the number of parts AlphaTauri will use from Red Bull would not significantly differ from what they’ve done in previous seasons.
In 2024, AlphaTauri intends to abandon its current name and adopt a new, permanent team and car name with ties to Red Bull.

“At the end of the day, our aerodynamic concept, although we haven’t got the highest performing car on the grid, it’s not standout different to anybody else,” “So, the chassis will be substantially different. But in terms of concept change, we know which way we’re going. We’ve just got to be more successful in achieving those objectives,” said Jody Egginton, as reported by motorsports.com

Adidas might be announced as title sponsor for AlphaTauri in 2024
In 2024, AlphaTauri is set to undergo a rebranding with a new sponsor partner. While there has been speculation about Hugo Boss as a potential replacement for AlphaTauri, the team has now revealed another contender for the sponsorship: Adidas.
Rumors about Hugo Boss potentially becoming the title sponsor were in speculation for a long time, but these speculations have diminished in recent races. However, reports have suggested that Hugo Boss might be involved as a sponsor starting in 2024 but not as the title sponsor for AlphaTauri.
