“At this point, he’s 50% American”: Fans commented on Daniel Ricciardo breaking the internet with a sunny smile ahead of the United States GP
Daniel Ricciardo
It is no news that the United States Grand Prix, which takes place at the Circuit of the Americas, Texas, is one of the most favorite for McLaren racer Daniel Ricciardo. Considering the fact that his future in F1 is currently hanging in the balance right now since his team has prematurely terminated their deal with him, and he does not have any racing seat at the other teams yet, this might very well be the last time the Honey Badger is getting to drive an F1 racecar at COTA.
Despite the uncertainties surrounding whether Daniel Ricciardo will return to F1 next season, the Australian seems to be enjoying the remaining races of this year to the fullest. As the American GP is round the corner, he posed for the cameras in his Texas Longhorns jersey, with a cowboy hat on. And just as the image dropped on McLaren’s official Twitter handle, frenzied fans swarmed the comments section with their take on how Daniel looked.
The United States Grand Prix will mark the third last race of 2022, and it is the second F1 race to be held across the pond in this year. Next year, the American F1 fans will see three Grands Prix held there–thr Miami GP, the Las Vegas GP, and the United States GP.
Daniel Ricciardo makes waves on the internet with his all-American look
Time and again, Daniel Ricciardo has claimed that he loves visiting the US. In fact, the 33-year-old has got a sprawling mansion in Beverly Hills that costs north of $20 million. Thus, whenever the F1 paddocks turn up in Texas for the United States Grand Prix, Daniel Ricciardo is often seen sporting an all-American look, with his cowboy hat on, interacting with the fans and getting his photos taken by the media.
And when McLaren decided to release one of the photos of Daniel Ricciardo’s outfit this time, the fans commented–

All the hilarious comments aside, Daniel Ricciardo did not have a particularly satisfying run at Suzuka for the Japanese Grand Prix last week. With only three races to go, it remains to be seen if Daniel Ricciardo can get back into his Singapore GP form and score some good points for the team with a top 6 finish.
