Lando Norris
Lando Norris, the McLaren F1 driver, executed a perfect Singapore Grand Prix for the Woking-based team, and after his exploits, has shared his joy with the fans via his Twitter handle.
Lando Norris finished the race at the Marina Bay Circuit with a terrific P4 finish to his name, and while he is happy with the result, he has also deemed the Singapore Grand Prix as the hottest race of his F1 career.
The on-track conditions were hot and humid during the race and while sharing his thoughts on it and McLaren’s performance, Lando via his Twitter handle wrote, “4TH! Hottest race of my life, and awesome points for the team. HAPPY DAYS!“
Lando Norris is ecstatic after his and the team’s outing as a whole at the Marina Bay Circuit, and feels that the points that McLaren scored were really important for the team.
Moreover, the occasion was made even greater by Lando’s teammate, Daniel Ricciardo, who after starting the race from P16, was able to land his MCL36 in fifth place just behind the young brit.

On the back of Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo, McLaren has gone ahead of Alpine in the Constructors Championship
McLaren came to Singapore with a huge deficit to 2022 rivals, the Alpine F1 team, however, as the French team was only able to manage two DNFs, McLaren took full advantage of the opportunity and is now 5 points ahead of the Enstone-based team.
After 17 rounds, McLaren has got 129 points to its name whereas Alpine, on the other hand, has only got 125 points to show for its efforts.
Lando Norris, just like 2021, has carried the weight of his team almost single-handedly and after Singapore, has amassed an exact 100 points for himself.
The young Brit has shown exceptional from this year, and if McLaren wants to keep hold of fourth place in the Constructors Championship, then he is going to be the key man for the team as Alpine is going to come hard in the remaining five races of the season.
