Lando Norris, the McLaren F1 driver, is supporting a new helmet design for the Singapore Grand Prix and it has caught the attention of people all around the paddock, because of its eye-pleasing color scheme and for being inspired by the popular video game called Halo.

Lando Norris has got himself a helmet that is donned in green and is similar to the fictional character named Master Chief from the Halo multimedia franchise.

The young Brit himself made the news public of supporting a new helmet design via his Twitter handle and wrote, “I AM NOW MASTER CHIEF.

Moreover, there is a very special reason why the 23-year-old has decided to support a Master Chief helmet, and it is because his esports team, Quadrant, has made it to the Halo Championship series.

F1 drivers are well known for their love for new helmet designs, and Lando Norris with his Halo-inspired helmet has just put another into his collection of F1 helmets.

The design has become an instant hit among fans and people are making queries as to how they can get their hands on the aesthetically pleasing helmet design.

McLaren is in a direct fight with the Alpine F1 team this season for the fourth position in the Constructors Championship, and as things stand, they are behind the French team by a margin of 18 points.

Italy was a good weekend for Lando Norris and Co. where they scored points and Alpine did not. To continue with the scoring form, the papaya-colored team has added new parts to Lando Norris’s livery in an attempt to keep the Alpine duo at bay in Singapore.

However, despite the new parts, Norris struggled during Friday practice sessions and was not able to finish in the top 10 in both of his outings.

While Lando has struggled to get to grips with his updated livery, Esteban Ocon and Fernando Alonso did really good laps at the Marina Bay Circuit and are looking in a strong position ahead of today’s qualifying.

The FP3 session is going to be absolutely crucial for McLaren to get rid of the gremlins on its car, considering, there is only a two-hour gap between the FP3 and the all-important Qualifying session.
