Belgian GP 2022: Will rain yet again play a huge factor over the course of the weekend?

Belgian Gp

Belgian Gp is round the table after what felt like a forever Summer break. the 14th round of the season is meant to be in Spa, one of the most iconic tracks in the history of Formula 1. Let’s find out what the weekend is meant to showcase us. As per the predictions, it’s again going to be a rainy weekend as the last time, but things could really go bad if it ends up being like it.

One of the few contentious events last season was Spa 2021. Even though there was no racing, every driver in a deserving position received points. Max winning the race might have been commonplace; Spa noted that George Russell finished second in a Williams.

This time around, Belgian GP still shows chances of rain around the track, with 80% chances of precipitation on Saturday and 20% on Sunday. This time around with new tyres, it should be an easy run around the track for the 2022 gen cars, no matter the rain.

2021 Belgian Gp was one of a few controversial races the historic season witnessed, Max Verstappen won the race after starting on pole, George Russell finished second in his first-ever front row start, and Lewis Hamilton, the main character, started third. However, with only two laps completed, awarding points on a regular basis would have materially impacted the championship. The two competitors were separated by five points.

Numerous people questioned the spa incident due to the existence of wet tyres. The rain was not a reason to cancel the enjoyable weekend that many fans were hoping to attend, ultimately costing them their money. Tires that could remove many gallons of water per second were used.
