Brazilian GP 2022 : Where and when to watch Lewis Hamilton’s home race?
Lewis Hamilton
The Formula 1 circus has finally arrived in Brazil for the Brazillian Grand Prix taking place this weekend. With news finally out that Lewis Hamilton has received honorary citizenship for Brazil, his fans and all those in the country were celebrating this achievement. Lewis went on to dedicate this to his icon and hero Ayrton Senna who was also Brazilian. It is the penultimate race of the 2022 F1 season.
With both the championship trophies already won in the previous races, all eyes will be on the fan favourite, Lewis Hamilton to win the race for the second year in a row. The 2022 Brazil GP will also be the last race of the season to have the sprint format. This means that we will have FO1 and Qualifying on Friday and FP2 and the Sprint Race on Saturday while the actual race will take place on Sunday.
The races at the Interlagos Circuit at Brazil have always been nail biting and ones to look out for. In 2019 we had a sprint to the finish between Lewis Hamilton and Pierre Gasly as they fought for P2 with the French driver taking the chequered flag first. This year’s Brazilian GP is set to be a race full of drama as every session is predicted to be a rain affected one.

Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton are two forces that could possibly get into a battle again just like old times (2021) and it’s a sure-shot thing to assume that both drivers will push each other to the limit. The battle for 2nd place in the drivers standing is also on between Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Red Bull’s Sergio Perez. Guess we will have to wait and watch how things flourish as the Brazil GP race weekend commences.
