Former FIA race director Michael Masi

Michael Masi is a much-recognised name every Formula 1 fan knows after being an event of the 2021 Abu Dhabi GP. Masi was the race director in the last F1 season. But a few wrong decisions and things turned out bad for him after he was thrown out of the sport with a tag of changing the championship wrongly. After months of no screen time to Masi, he has been spotted at a Moto GP event watching the Australian GP.

Michael Masi has been a decent race director but that one decision in 2021 Abu Dhabi GP cost him his well-settled career. 2021 saw an intense and much more interesting fight between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. The season went on with various winners in different locations but ultimately got settled down to equal points entering the last race of the season. The race was pretty much in the hands of Lewis Hamilton, but things changed when an uneven call for safety was made.
