Carlos Sainz had a stellar weekend at the Singapore GP. The Spanish driver exceeded expectations and came home to win Ferrari’s first race in 2023. Certainly, this was a massive feat for the 29-year-old as it put an end to Max Verstappen‘s dominant run this season. So, it is no surprise that Sainz decided to celebrate this victory in style with his girlfriend Rebecca Donaldson.
A video surfaced on Twitter where Carlos Sainz could be seen in a nightclub with his girlfriend. This endearing couple seems to be enjoying their night out together with smiles on their faces. The Spaniard and his girlfriend, Rebecca Donaldson chose the iconic Amber Lounge as the place to commemorate the Spanish driver’s second-ever win at the pinnacle of motorsport.
Certainly, it was a delightful outing for the duo as they got some time off the hectic F1 paddock. Carlos Sainz and Rebecca had their fair share of drinks on this occasion. The Ferrari driver deserved to have some fun in Singapore after what was one of the most challenging races on the entire F1 calendar. The Marina Bay Circuit is infamous for its high temperatures even post-sunset.

Carlos Sainz and Ferrari on a high after Singapore GP win
Scuderia Ferrari had fallen behind Red Bull at the start of the 2023 season. Maranello had even struggled to match Mercedes and Aston Martin in the initial rounds. So much so, that Carlos Sainz had failed to secure a single podium finish during the first half of the season. However, things have changed drastically since the sport returned from the summer break.

Sainz has acted as the lead Ferrari in the past two races with teammate Charles Leclerc trailing behind the Spanish driver. The win at Singapore further solidifies the position of the 29-year-old as he proves himself to be on par with the Monegasque driver. Certainly, Carlos Sainz has shown that he can be a force to be reckoned with under the right circumstances.
However, there is still a long way to go for Sainz and Ferrari before they can fight for the title. Red Bull is expected to be back in full swing at the following round in Japan where the Scuderia might struggle to stop Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez. Although, fans would be hoping for another exciting race after a thrilling contest in Singapore.
