The Dutch GP unfolded as another forgettable weekend for Ferrari, marked by a result best described as mediocre. Despite struggling with a consistently imbalanced SF23 throughout the weekend, Carlos Sainz showcased resilience and secured a commendable P5 finish in the Netherlands. Notably, the Spanish driver, who is yet to grace the podium this season, exudes confidence in his pursuit of a second career victory.

Sainz Mentioned that he is aware of his chances and probabilities. He acknowledged the possibility of Ferrari winning a race in the current season and securing the victory. He noted that nobody is flawless and hoped that Red Bull might make an error at some juncture throughout the season. He emphasized that his mindset is to approach each weekend with the determination to seize any opportunity.

“I know what my chances or my probabilities are, but there’s still a probability that Ferrari can win a race this season and that I can be there to win it. And I think no one’s perfect. Hopefully, at some point during the season, Red Bull makes a mistake and I go into every weekend thinking I need to be there to grab it,” Carlos Sainz said, according to Motorsport Week.

Carlos Sainz voiced doubts about Max Verstappen’s unbroken streak of wins, expressing disbelief in Verstappen’s ability to clinch victory every race. Sainz’s remarks came before the Dutch Grand Prix last weekend. He observed the media’s tendency to exaggerate, highlighting that even in the dominant reigns of Mercedes, Red Bull, and Ferrari. One race often saw outcome-altering surprises, emphasizing the significance of variables in Formula 1.

“I don’t fully believe Max is going to win every weekend. Know you guys see it in a very drastic, dramatic way. Because even in the most dominant years of Mercedes, of Red Bull, of Ferrari, there was always one race know that you could make a difference,” Carlos continued.
