‘Chances anyone is fired?’ Ferrari fans are enraged over yet another tactical mishap in Hungary

Charles Leclerc only managed a P6 after starting P3

Ferrari comes up with another innovative strategy to make sure they bottle another win. Hungarian GP was another disaster class for the Italian powerhouse that took another victory from the hands of Charles Leclerc. Ferrari is now completely out of the picture with a 100 points gap between them and their rivals, Red Bull. Sergio Perez managed to finish ahead of Charles Leclerc despite starting from the 11th position. Max Verstappen won the race with quite some margin despite starting from the 10th position. This victory made sure to hammer the final nail in the coffin of Ferrari’s dream for the championship.

Ferrari had the pace and were the quickest in stint one when the race started. Both the drivers were perfectly capable of beating the rest of the cars on the grid with Mediums tyres. But things fell down after the team decide to go with a two-stop race. Charles Leclerc was leading the race with a gap of more than 7 seconds to Max Verstappen. But he was then brought into the pits for a tyre change to the Hard compound. As soon as he left the pits he found himself right beside Max, who was on Mediums and had to fight Verstappen with those new tyres. But as the race progressed Charles struggled dearly to get traction on those hard tyres. He ultimately lost to Max and later found himself pitting again for brand new Soft compound. But by then he lost track positions and was on 6th. Ultimately losing the race but not even finishing on the podium.

Fans are enraged with the strategist and are openly asking for a replacement. This isn’t the first time the Strategy team has failed Charles from a sure sort of win.
