Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz flaunt Ferrari’s new look for Italian GP anniversary

Ferrari took to social media to unveil new jerseys ahead of the Italian Grand Prix. The post showed their drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz standing side by side wearing the new jersey.
This brings forth a fresh new look for the team before they race at their home Grand Prix and could possible pave the way for new things to come within the team as well. Ferrari are in desperate need of a win this coming weekend if they have any hopes of staying in contention for the championship
The team first teased the new look on social media one day before the unveiling and stirred up conversations within the fans as to whether a new livery was going to be coming for their upcoming race in Monza.
The new jerseys unveiled by Ferrari could be a sign of new comings and a fresh breath of air for them before the Italian Grand Prix.
Are Ferrari out of contention for the championship?

The 2022 F1 season has started off well for Ferrari and they seemed like strong contenders to win the championship. However, as the season continued the numerous blunders made by them have put them behind in the championship against Red-Bull.
Ferrari are currently 135 behind Red-Bull in the constructors championship and any hopes for catching up seem bleak. The team’s numerous blunders, botched strategy calls and reliability issues have acted as an anchor in this championship. The fans that were happy at the start of the season are just enraged at this point and many of them feel that the championship is out of their hands.
However, the team are still optimistic about their chances with only 7 races to go and if they are able to secure a win at Monza it could keep them in the championship. Ferrari’s lead driver Charles Leclerc is 109 points behind the championship leader Max Verstappen and if things continue in this pace there would be no hope for Ferrari to win the world championship.
