Charles Leclerc has been making his trade with the Ferrari F1 team since 2019. He has gone on to hone his skills year after year and today, he is considered one of the best drivers on the current grid. He is seen by many in the same light as that of Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton.

While Charles Leclerc will have a new teammate in the form of Lewis Hamilton in 2025, he has recently made it known that he desperately wants to win a world championship with Ferrari. Moreover, wants to do everything in his power to attain his objective.

While shedding light on the same, the Monegasque driver said, as reported by racingnews365:

I mean, obviously, the contract is for many years, so I cannot go into details for that. But again, it all depends on the situation I find myself in after this contract. I love Ferrari very much and my goal of my career is to win a title with Ferrari and I'll do absolutely everything in order to win the title with Ferrari. And then for the future, I've just signed my new contract so I don't want to be speaking about that now.

The 26-year-old starlet has made it quite clear that he is fully focused on winning a world championship with the iconic Ferrari F1 team. He has immense love for the Italian outfit and thus, wants to give them their first championship since 2007, when Kimi Raikkonen won Ferrari the WDC.

Charles Leclerc will be put under pressure in 2025 by Lewis Hamilton

While Charles Leclerc has left no stone unturned in talking about his desire to win a world championship with Ferrari, things could get a bit tricky for him from 2025 onwards. As mentioned earlier, the former seven-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton, will be joining the Italian brand next year.

The 39-year-old has a huge pedigree in F1 and is currently the holder of several records in the sport. Whereas Leclerc despite having spent quite a few years at Ferrari, has so far only managed five Grand Prix wins. Moreover, he was also not able to score even a single win in 2023.

While Charles Leclerc’s F1 record is not staggering at the moment, it is mostly because Ferrari has so far not delivered cars as per expectations. Considering this and Hamilton’s 2025 arrival, it will be fascinating to see how Leclerc will perform during the upcoming 2024 F1 season.
