“Charles Leclerc is frustrated,” Markus Ericcson believes Leclerc is fed up with Ferrari
Charles Leclerc
Charles Leclerc’s entry in Ferrari in 2019, replacing Kimi Raikkonen, was a dream come true for the Monegasque. It was a gateway to the highest prize in F1; the World Championship. At that point of time, the championship contender was his teammate, Sebastian Vettel, but soon after that, Leclerc was expected to line up with the same. Though the team suffered a lot of losses in 2020, they made an amazing comeback this season with another championship contending car, the F1-75, with Carlos Sainz & Leclerc. The car easily had the potential to lead the team, and Leclerc’s driving even made it happen at first, the team’s chances of winning a championship have almost shattered now.
The car is arguably the fastest car on the grid currently along with Red Bull, yet they are far away from the championship lead as of now because of simple mistakes from the team’s crew. First, the cars struggled with their engines a lot, resulting in multiple DNFs for both the drivers, later, after engine changes, the team’s strategy made Charles lose a lot of points as they would always misjudge the wear on the tyres, or call him for a pit stop at the wrong time, or even put a wrong tyre compound.
After suffering through all of this, former F1 driver, Marcus Erricson believes that Charles Leclerc has lost faith in the team.

Charles Leclerc is capable of winning the World Championship
According to Erricson, Leclerc has been fast this year, but there have been more than just one problems, and he himself has made errors during races;
There is always something, and it is really absurd, especially when they have such a good car and can’t capitalize on it. Moreover, often Carlos and Charles they doubt the decisions that the pit wall takes during the race,” he stated, as Archysport quoted him.
It is of no doubt that Leclerc stands a chance to win the Championship, but it is possible only if the team improves their strategies and have a much more reliable car.
