The 2023 F1 season came to an end last weekend with Max Verstappen scoring his nineteenth Grand Prix win of the season. The RB19 proved too mighty for its rivals this year and amidst the records that it has broken, the Red Bull team principal, Christian Horner has admitted that the car will go into the history books.
Christian Horner genuinely believes that Red Bull’s RB19 is one of the best cars that the pinnacle of motor racing has ever seen. On the back of the might of the RB19, the team scored 21 race victories this year and also wrapped up both the Constructors and Drivers Championships quite early during the 2023 campaign.
Horner is on cloud nine with what his team was able to achieve this year and while talking about the same, the 50-year-old has made it quite clear that he could not have asked his team for a better job than what they did with the production of the all-conquering RB19.

For Max to have led over a thousand laps, for him to have won 19 races, to have broken McLaren's record from '88, to have broken Seb's – our own record from 2013 – the win ratios, all the percentages that he's hit. This car will go down in history, certainly for I think a considerable period of time, the most successful car in Formula 1 history.Horner said, as reported by racefans.net.
Christian Horner and Co. are one of the favorites heading into 2024
While the 2023 Formula 1 season is done and dusted, the work in the Red Bull factories has long started regarding the development of its next year’s car. They have nailed the new F1 regulations from the get-go and considering this, there is a genuine belief in the F1 paddock about Red Bull continuing its dominance in 2024.
The RB19 operated on a whole other playing field in comparison to its rivals this year and in the hands of Max Verstappen, its powers were multiplied 10-folds. However, there is a slight chance that the lights of Ferrari, McLaren, and, Mercedes could pose a serious threat to Verstappen and Co. next year.
