Christian Horner’s wife Geri Halliwell dons author’s hat for the release of her new young-adult book

Christian Horner may always be busy making sure Red Bull stays at the top of their game against the most formidable opponents. But his wife Geri Halliwell has made a name for herself too. The former Spice Girls member left the best-selling female group of all time a long time back. But since then, she has dipped her toes in different fields to find her passion. She is an actress with her most recent release being the sports drama Gran Turismo starring Orlando Bloom, and she is also a philanthropist.
But Geri Halliwell’s credits as a published author are often overlooked by the fans. Christian Horner‘s wife is the author of her own biography called ‘If Only’ which came out in 1999. She followed that up with a series of 6 children’s books called the Ugenia Lavendar series. Halliwell’s books sold out in 2008 and earned her the title of ‘the most successful female celebrity children’s author’. She secured a contract with Macmillan following the release of the first Ugenia Lavendar book, and then she wrote five other volumes with them.
With her author’s profile containing credits for an autobiography and several children’s books, Geri Halliwell perhaps wanted to try out a new genre. That brought her to the young adult fiction world as she penned the upcoming book called ‘Rosie Frost and the Falcon Queen’. The Briton shared news of the new release on her Instagram handle, and also declared that she will be going on a book tour.

As an author, Geri has already shown her mettle with the successful series on Ugenia Lavendar. But her venture into the young adult fantasy world seems to be a hit too. As the first copies of ‘Rosie Frost and the Falcon Queen’ started arriving in the UK, Jacqueline Wilson, author of Tracey Beaker, commented on it. Seeing her approval, Halliwell wrote on her Instagram story (as reported by Hello Magazine), “She likes it. This is a dream come true!“
The Ginger Spice also announced that she will be touring in the US for her new book. Within two weeks’ time, Geri will make her way across the pond to promote her release whose blurb reads, “A sweeping adventure filled with a hidden island, family secrets, shocking betrayals, amazing music, and girl power.”
Meanwhile, Christian Horner cannot be too relaxed right now as Red Bull had a horror show at the recently-held Singapore GP. The team found both their drivers, including the Dutch lion Max Verstappen, get eliminated from the Qualifying in Q2. And even during the race, they did not have enough pace to catch up to Carlos Sainz’s Ferrari, Lando Norris’ McLaren, and Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes as they were battling for the lead at the front of the grid. But it remains to be seen if Red Bull can get back to their winning form at the upcoming Japanese GP.
