Christian Horner after the end of the Abu Dhabi qualifying, has indicated that he is pleased with his team’s front-row lockout for tomorrow’s race.

Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez had a tremendous outing during the recently concluded qualifying session, and on the back of it, have given the Austrian team exactly what they wanted.

Moreover, the Red Bull Team boss is happy with the work of his drivers, and while talking about it after qualifying, he added, “We are tremendously happy with the performance as it gives us an opportunity to end our most successful season in the best possible way.”

He further added, “On top of that, he gave Checo the tow in the second sector to help him secure the second grid slot – locking out the front row for the Team, we couldn’t have asked for a better Saturday.”

Christian Horner has made it known that Max helped Sergio during qualifying, and feels, that the team could not have asked for anything more to come out of the penultimate day of the Abu Dhabi GP.

Sergio Perez will enter the final race of the 2022 F1 season, tomorrow, on level pegging with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in the Drivers Championship.

The duo is on 290 points and Christian Horner and Co. will have a keen eye on the Mexican’s progress during the race as Charles Leclerc is starting just behind Perez in P3.

Red Bull wants to end the season on a high with its drivers in P1 and P2 position in the standings, but it is not going to be a walk in the park, as the Monegasque will try his hardest to land his F1-75 ahead of Perez’s RB18 at the end of the race.
