Putting your head down and showing what you can do: One of the many things you try, [is] to put [the issue] aside. I guess in Carlos [Sainz's] position now, he knows that this It's his last season with Ferrari, but in a way he knows it's done, as if nothing was going to change.
Daniel Ricciardo said as reported by motorsport.com

The 34-year-old suggested the Spanish driver to keep his head down and give his all in his last season with the Scuderia. In addition to this, if he keeps on performing consistently, then teams like Red Bull and Mercedes may show an interest in him and could fast-track his career to the top.

What is Carlos Sainz’s verdict on the Ferrari SF-24?

Sainz performed extremely well in his last outing on track. Also, the Spaniard is a driver that cannot go unnoticed by teams as he was the only non-Red Bull driver to win last year. With the 29-year-old’s recent increase in performance thanks to the new SF-24, he has given a review of how the car feels.

After the race, the two-time winner gave his views on the new SF-24:

I love racing and I love overtaking, being aggressive and attacking. And with last year's car it was just impossible to do that. As soon as we drove in turbulent air, as soon as we overheated the tires, As soon as we pushed a little too hard, the game was over.
Carlos Sainz said as reported by motorsport-total

Sainz explained that he likes being aggressive out on track and performing maneuvers to complete overtakes like the move on his teammate Charles Leclerc. Along with this, the Spaniard mentioned how the car allows him to attack and not be weary about its repelling characteristics.

This showcases that Sainz is comfortable with the car and is at ease with it. Fans across the world would be hoping for him to finalize a deal with a top team and give us a few more years of racing action.
