Lewis Hamilton has made himself the unofficial fashion icon of the F1 paddock over the last few years. While Alfa Romeo driver Zhou comes at a close second, no one can beat the 7 time F1 world champion when it comes to outfits. There are a lot of drivers who always pull up to the paddock in their team kit. However, that is not how it works with the British driver.
While many in the paddock have appreciated Lewis Hamilton’s dressing sense, there have been many criticisers too. Michael Schumacher’s brother, Ralph has been one of the F1 personalities who has bashed Lewis for his outfit. The Mercedes driver had worn a rather ‘bizarre’ outfit to the Miami GP which turned heads in the paddock.
In an interview with Sky Germany, here is what he had to say. “Lewis Hamilton is currently going to be extremely seething,” he said in his post-race column. “He’s not used to not winning. He wants attention, you can always see that in his outfits. In Miami he landed behind his team-mate George Russell. This is a maximum penalty for Hamilton,” he stated.

Fans were quick to react and defend Lewis Hamilton following Ralph Schumacher’s comments on his outfit and abilities. Ever since his title defeat to Max Verstappen, the Brit hasn’t been able to win a race for more than a year. Ralph tried to hit him where it hurts and here is how the fans reacted.
