Max Verstappen has turned a lot of heads in recent years. He has proven to fans and critics that he is a force to be reckoned with. While everyone already knew Max’s capabilities, it still came as a surprise when the Dutchman went on to win his first word driver’s championship. Soon after, a new era started wherein the Red Bull driver just didn’t seem to stop and it has been going uphill for Verstappen ever since.

After beating Charles Leclerc by a mile to win the 2022 world drivers championship, Max Verstappen has come into 2023 with an even better car. In the 8 races that have happened so far this year, Max had won six of them. Last year, the Dutchman set a new record as he had won 15 out of the 22 races that took place. This record could be broken this year most probably.

Another great feat that he achieved this year was equalling Ayrton Senna’s tally in race victories in Montreal. The Red Bull driver now has 41 wins under his belt. Max is also enjoying a healthy lead in the drivers championship standings this year. However, his dominant performances haven’t really struck well with Eddie Jordan. Max’s dominance has brought up a major issue in the sport.

As quoted by Planet F1, here is what Eddie had to say. “Max Verstappen will emerge over time to be the greatest driver of all time,” Jordan said on the latest episode of the Formula For Success podcast. “He’s that good. I don’t like the last couple of races, I have to tell you. I’m bored to death with him. He’s just that good. He’s making it boring, more so than the Schumacher era,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Max Verstappen lies unbothered as he has gone on to put all his focus on Austria. In a joking manner, the Dutchmann has been promised that the circuit will be named after him following another win in the mountains. It will be interesting to see if Max can break Sebastian Vettel’s nine wins in a row record. It will be tough but having a car like Red Bull under his helm will be a clear advantage.
