The 2022 F1 season has finally reached its conclusion and what everyone expected came to pass – Max Verstappen won the Japanese Grand Prix and the 2022 F1 season, making him a 2-time world champion. Esteban Ocon took to Twitter to talk about his satisfying race whilst also congratulating the 24-year-old Dutchman on this amazing achievement.

The race was red-flagged after 3 laps due to Carlos Sainz spinning off the track and hitting an advertisement sign. The sign in turn flew onto the wet track endangering other drivers. Suzuka was suffering from heavy rains and the race was red-flagged for the most part. It later resumed with less than 45 mins left in the race.
