25 year old Max Verstappen has been a class apart from the whole F1 grid this season. Out of the 10 races that have taken place this season so far, Red Bull have shown utter dominance by winning every singles grand prix. While Sergio Perez has two wins under his belt namely Jeddah and Baku, Verstappen has gone on to win the other eight races in a truly dominant fashion.

It seems like the whole grid doesn’t have an answer to Max Verstappen and Red Bull’s pace this year. Many in the paddock have already come to a conclusion that the Dutchman will undoubtedly win his third world championship this year. The Red Bull hotshot already leads the championship whilst also having a commanding advantage of 99 points over bis teammate Sergio Perez.

In an interview, F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali showcased his respect for Max Verstappen and his achievements so far. “I have to say first that Max [Verstappen] is fully deserving of the success he is experiencing, you just have to take your hat off,” Domenicali stated. “Obviously I’m not denying that I’d like to see championships with a close confrontation right up to the last lap of the last race, like in 2021, but without the Abu Dhabi controversy, he said referring to the 2021 Abu Dhabi GP where Max prevented Lewis from winning his 8th championship title.

Max Verstappen could break a record that hasn’t been broken in a decade

Max Verstappen just won his 43rd F1 race during his 150th start for Red Bull. Whilst doing so, the Dutchman has also gone on to get his 6th consecutive race win. If this keeps going on, Max could quite possibly break Sebastian Vettel’s record of nine consecutive race victories which was set in 2013 with Red Bull. With the pace that the team currently has, it seems more and more likely that this could be a possibility.

On the other hand, things will be interesting in Hungary as Daniel Ricciardo will make his comeback to the pinnacle of motorsport this week. The Aussie will be racing with AlphaTauri in hopes of getting promoted to the main team. While that possibility does look bleak, it will be interesting to see how Daniel is able to cope with what’s thrown at him. All eyes will be on Red Bull at the track this weekend.
