F1 teams and their Premier League equivalent featuring Red Bull, Mercedes and Ferrari

Red Bull, Mercedes and Ferrari
Red Bull, Ferrari and Mercedes have undoubtedly been the three most successful teams in the recent past. Mercedes and Red Bull have edged a step ahead but Ferrari has also time and again nibbled at the heels of the top two lately. So, lets look at the the giants of F1 and their closest premier equivalent in this new hybrid era.
Red Bull X Liverpool

Red Bull has become a force to be reckoned with after the turn of the decade. The team from Milton Keynes did have a string of ultra successful years but then faded away after the era of Mercedes domination began. Like Liverpool, they also have suddenly come back to life and dethroned Mercedes in the process. Max Verstappen has been Virgil Van Dijk for the team as his introduction has bought that spark back, allowing the team to build around him. There’s still work to be done but both Liverpool and Red Bull have the potential to dominate their respective sports in the coming years.

Mercedes X Manchester City

If any team has developed to become that irresistible force, it has got to be Mercedes. After an injection of money and the signing of the charismatic Lewis Hamilton, the team from Germany hasn’t looked back. With a tactical genius in Toto Wolff at the helm, Mercedes definitely draws parallel from Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. The reigning premier League champions were absolutely nobodies back in the day but things have changed drastically as both these teams have changed the meaning of the word ‘domination’. We are yet to see if George Russell and Erling Haaland can take it to a new level but the potential is immense.
Ferrari X Manchester United

Ferrari and Manchester United are the most successful teams in the the history of their respective leagues. With multiple titles under their belt, these two teams have defined an era, but unfortunately, both these teams have slipped down the table and haven’t looked competitive. Cristiano Ronaldo was Manchester United’s knight in shining armor just like the legendary Michael Schumacher. Ever since their departure, they have become a part of their mammoth figure. Let’s hope that Erik Ten Hag and Mattia Binotto can right the ship and roll back the days.
