Pierre Gasly since his painful departure from the Red Bull F1 team has found it difficult to make his way back up to them, and as things stand, his best option for the upcoming years of the sport is with the Alpine F1 team, who is currently active in the 2023 driver market.

Fernando Alonso has signed a contract with the Aston Martin team for 2023 and this has led to a seat being vacant on the Enstone-based F1 team.

There are quite a few drivers on Alpine’s driver’s list, but as per reports, it is believed that Pierre Gasly is at the top of their list to fill the second seat on the team alongside Esteban Ocon.

The 26-year-old has had a torrid time this season and moving away from the Red Bull pool of drivers is probably the best option that he has got as far as moving up on the grid is concerned.
