The Singapore Grand Prix was one of the most exciting and thrilling races in the 2022 F1 calendar. The Marina Bay street circuit is a very tricky track that tests the skills of a driver to the max and any mistake could cost them the race. As was the case last night with 6 drivers retiring early from the race due to several errors on the track.
The fans got to witness a very exciting and thrilling race with a dramatic end. Sergio Perez took the victory followed by Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz securing P2 and P3 respectively. Out of the several retirements, it was observed by the fans that all three Asian drivers ended up retiring early from the race.
Alex Albon, Zhou Guanyu and Yuki Tsunoda were among the drivers that retired early. Fans noticed this odd turn of events that all 3 Asian drivers retired during an Asian Grand Prix and this reminded them of Charles Leclerc and his Monaco curse in which he retired almost every time he competed at the Monaco Grand Prix which is his home race.
