Motorsport has been a male-dominated arena for decades. Formula 1 and other racing series have lacked adequate female racing drivers. However, there have been instances of talented women going head-to-head with men in the world of racing. One such affair was of Susie Wolff standing on the podium alongside Lewis Hamilton in Formula Renault.
The seven-time world champion shared a podium with the former racing driver in the Formula Renault championship in the early 2000s. Hamilton helped Wolff with the champagne bottle as he opened it for the Scottish driver. Susie Wolff was quick to take the bottle and pour champagne on the British driver. Both drivers had smiles on their faces.
The two had a fun time as they celebrated together after the race. Certainly a great moment between the two drivers. Although neither of them would’ve thought that their parts would align in the future at Mercedes. With Susie Wolff marrying future Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff. While Hamilton would go on to achieve record-breaking success with the Silver Arrows.

Certainly, Lewis Hamilton and Susis Wolff would love to recall their Formula Renault days as they went wheel-to-wheel in the championship. Although Susie could not make it big in F1, she stands as one of the most influential women in the racing world right now. The 40-year-old currently spearheads the all-female F1 Academy series.
