Lewis Hamilton has again found himself in the line of fire following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The whole world is shook after hearing the news of the demise of the longest serving Monarch in Balmoral Castle. A news broke out on Thursday that Her majesty wasn’t doing well and therefore doctors were rushed to the castle to provide her quick and adequate treatment.

Later in the day, there was news regarding her recovering well but unfortunately she wasn’t able to survive this scare as she took her last breath in the afternoon. This news spread like wildfire and we saw dignitaries and celebrities from around the world sending their heartfelt support to the Royal family. We expected some sort of message from the seven time F1 world champion as well but nothing of that sort has happened as of now.

Although when the news broke out about Her Majesty’s illness, Lewis Hamilton did send a message full of support to her but absolutely nothing after the death of the Queen. This is something that has not gone down well with the people, who feel, being a knight, it’s his duty to send a message. We saw the likes of Max Verstappen and Stefano Domenicali doing that, which makes Lewis’ omission to act more shocking.

Some of the fans did tear into Lewis Hamilton saying, “Why is there nothing on your account relating to Queen Elizabeth 2nd death Will you be racing this weekend after all you had been knighted by the Queen?”

Another commented: “It’s been 2 hours since they announced the queen died and Lewis Hamilton has yet to make a statement. How does this impact his legacy?”

This comes along as a huge surprise as we have seen Lewis Hamilton meeting the Queen on multiple occasions in the past. The seven-time world champion should ideally break the silence sooner rather than later.
