“No point if there’s no coverage” – Fans react as all 10 Formula 1 teams will have their cars and liveries in F1 Academy for 2024
F1 Academy in 2024 will have some exciting changes that will include all the 10 Formula 1 teams.

The F1 Academy is an all female racing series started in order to get closer towards the goal of having diversity in Motorsport. Currently, the Academy has 5 teams competing in it which are ART Grand Prix, Campos Racing, MP Motorsport, PREMA Racing and Rodin Carlin. Each team has three drivers which has put the total driver tally to fifteen racers.
After the W Series ran into financial difficulties, the F1 Academy came into power. As of yesterday, Formula 1 and F1 academy have announced that all the 10 F1 teams will be having their own car and livery from the 2024 season onwards. The decision to do so received immense support from all the ten constructors making this possible. The lineup of the drivers is yet to be announced and will be revealed later on.
Susie Wolff who’s the managing director of the F1 academy had a few thoughts to share regarding the recent announcement. “First and foremost, I want to thank the Formula 1 teams for their support and vision as we embark on this journey together,” she said. “This landmark moment not only demonstrates the depth of support for F1 Academy from across the F1 community but will inspire a whole generation of young girls to realise the opportunities both on and off track in motorsport,” she continued.
Fans react as the F1 academy finally gets the support of all 10 F1 teams
Fans were excited about the opportunity for all 10 teams to compete in the F1 academy. However, there were other concerns that they wanted the higher ups to address. F1 Academy races have haven’t been broadcasted at all which seems to be an issue. For the 2024 season, fans urged F1 Academy to broadcast their races in order for them to support the racers.
For the 2024 season, F1 academy will be joining the F1 calendar which will make it easy for the crowd to support the up and coming racers. Stefano Domenicali had gone on to show his support for the series stating that the teams have worked tirelessly to turn this idea into a reality. Their plan will definitely contribute towards raising global awareness about the series.
