The 2023 Canadian GP was an action-packed race. Fernando Alonso started from the front row after Nico Hulkenberg was given a three-place grid penalty. The Spanish driver initially lost out to Lewis Hamilton but got ahead of the 7-time world champion. Aston Martin decided to celebrate Alonso’s podium finish in an adorable manner.

The Silverstone-based team brought in one of the security dogs at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve while taking the team picture. The dog was delighted to be part of the celebrations and stood on two legs playfully. Certainly, this was perhaps the cutest way an F1 team had marked a podium finish. However, Lance Stroll was missing from the picture on the team’s social media accounts.

As such, the Canadian GP podium will be even more special compared to the team’s past results with the addition of this wholesome celebration. Perhaps other teams, too, will follow this in the future.
