Shakira has been spotted at three F1 races this year, and once in the Mercedes garage in Spain, sparking dating rumours with Lewis Hamilton.

The British Grand Prix was highly anticipated, attracting numerous celebrities worldwide. One notable attendee was Shakira, the famous singer known for her hit song ‘Waka Waka.’ Shakira‘s presence at the race has sparked dating rumors with seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton, especially since this marked her third appearance at a Formula One race within the last five events.

The rumors initially surfaced earlier in the season following the Miami Grand Prix. Shakira and Lewis Hamilton were spotted together at a popular restaurant in Miami and even enjoyed a boat ride. Coincidentally, Hamilton achieved a podium finish in Miami, making it the first time Shakira was present for one of his races.

Shakira has been single for over a year following her breakup with football legend Gerard Pique. Her appearance at Hamilton’s home grand prix has raised a few eyebrows. The Colombian singer also appeared at the Spanish GP and yet again fuelled the rumor mill. As an uncanny coincidence, the Brit has also bagged a podium at the Spanish GP.

Fans on Twitter quickly made connections between Shakira’s presence and Hamilton’s podium finishes, claiming that she is his lucky charm. They began flooding the social media platform with tweets linking the two together and asserting that they were now dating. Hamilton’s home podium at the British Grand Prix only strengthened these beliefs. Despite the Mercedes team lacking ultimate pace compared to their rivals, the podium finish provided a much-needed morale boost.
