The 2024 season of Formula 1 is just under a month away as the grid builds up excitement for the same. Amidst the preparation, Season 6 of the popular Netflix Docuseries Drive to Survive gets released for the fans to enjoy before the commencement of the season. However, fans take quick notice of Max Verstappen‘s absence in the trailers and posters.

Netflix alongside Formula 1 unveiled the Drive To Survive’s season 6 trailer recently on multiple social media sites. The entire trailer was exhilarating and action-packed for the fans to enjoy. The trailer contained appearances from multiple drivers and team principals who were integral parts of the previous season.

DTS star Guenther Steiner also made his final appearance in the show as the 58-year-old has since left the grid from the beginning of this season. However, amidst this, the reigning world champion Max Verstappen was absent from the video.

The Dutchman wasn’t present in the trailer or the posters for the show. Hence, something might be wrong as the 26-year-old won 19 out of 22 races and deserved an appearance in the trailer.

In a recent tweet on X, multiple fans took a quick note of the reigning world champion’s absence in the posts. One fan mentioned that there was no presence of Verstappen or Sergio Perez and added ‘FAWK DTS’ amidst this. Another fan questioned how could DTS be an F1 show if they wouldn’t show the driver who won 19 races down the season.

The majority of the fans were unhappy with this decision. Another fan was a bit more aggressive with his comments and commented ‘F**k Netflix‘ due to this decision. One fan asserted that Verstappen was a ‘Netflix Menace’ because of his absence. A particular fan mentioned that they wanted the men in orange very badly since even Sergio Perez wasn’t seen in the trailers or posters.

Regardless, the grid prepares for the 2024 season with the chassis reveal just a few days away. Hence, amidst these preparations, Red Bull also awaits the decision on Christian Horner’s allegations. The coming season will be extremely exciting for the fans, and DTS will have their eyes on all the behind-the-scenes of the season.
