17-year-old F3 driver, Oliver Bearman came third in the F3 championship last season and has now signed a deal with the Prema Racing team and has been promoted to F2. Bearman is a rising talent within the Ferrari driver academy and this move to F2 goes to show the faith the team has put in him.
Ferrari has no shortage of capable drivers currently, alongside Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, there is Robert Shwartzman eagerly waiting for a chance to make his debut race in F1. He has participated in a few FP1 sessions with the team in order to get accustomed to an F1 car but is yet to receive a chance in an actual race.
The 17-year-old, Bearman has shown his capabilities in the Formula 3 championship with the Prema racing team and his ascension to Formula 2 has fans wondering what kind of performance he will showcase next season which will in turn decide whether or not he gets promoted to F1.

The Ferrari F1 team seem to have no shortage of drivers for the upcoming F1 seasons. The two current drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc have signed multi-year contracts with the team and will stick around for quite some time. Besides that Robert Shwartzman, the Ferrari reserve driver is gaining experience by taking part in FP1 sessions in several races and is always eager for more.
There is another rising star within the ranks of the Ferrari driver academy, a 17-year-old driver Oliver Bearman seems to be one of the talented drivers that Ferrari has shown their faith in. Bearman has been promoted to F2 after only a year in F3 where he placed third overall in the championship.
The fans are excited to see what the 17-year-old British driver will bring to the grid in the future and to his performance in Formula 2 for the next season.
