The Christian Horner investigation saga seemingly ended with Red Bull clearing the Briton of all allegations. However, another alleged leak from an anonymous source resurrected the entire case and Red Bull team boss was again under scrutiny. However, the 50-year-old had previously declined the rumors and refused to further comment on the status quo. Max Verstappen‘s father Jos Verstappen reportedly had a fallout with Horner regarding this case..

Jos Verstappen made it clear that he had nothing to do with the alleged evidence leak. The Ex-F1 driver even called out Horner and claimed he was playing the ‘victim’. Regardless, Verstappen Sr. admitted that the relationship between the two was soured due to the entire investigation saga.

However, another new revelation about the entire matter has surfaced to the public. According to BBC, FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem has also recently interloped in the entire matter. The president reportedly asked Max Verstappen to support his team principal in this sitch. This news was initially published by De Telegraaf but was confirmed by BBC independently.

Christian Horner to continue as Red Bull Team Principal despite alleged evidence leak

The entire matter was extremely sensitive and needed to be handled with care. However, Horner was given the green card to lead the team heading into Bahrain GP. Additionally, FIA and F1 had a meeting over the alleged leak. However, Ben Sulayem made it clear that the sports governing body would not take any action for now.

Hence, the Briton will continue to serve Milton Keynes as team principal despite the alleged new information being leaked about him. The team emerged victorious at the season opener in Bahrain with Max Verstappen’s dominant victory. Hence, the team continues to score great results under Horner despite the never-ending investigation saga of the team principal.

Everything seems to be at a halt now regarding the entire investigation. However, nothing can be fully decided about the entire status quo as the entire crew decided to hold silence over the matter. With Red Bull declining to reveal the result reports, fans and others involved in the sport are suspicious.
