Sir Lewis Hamilton‘s move to Ferrari in 2025, taking advantage of his exit clause, was a huge surprise to the F1 garage. Hamilton is looking to win a record breaking eight world title with Ferrari. The Italian team has to close the gap to Red Bull and built a car capable of winning races before Hamilton joins them in 2025. But ex-F1 Benetton manager, Flavio Briatore, has warned Ferrari about one trait of Hamilton they could worry about.

One thing about Lewis Hamilton is that he doesn’t shy away from showing his displeasure. The Englishman washes always been vocal about Mercedes cars’ performance, at Scuderia he will do the same. Briatore claims that such drivers have a trait where they won’t work extra hard on cars if they are not competitive enough and it might even make Hamilton less productive than Charles Leclerc.

According to Briatore Leclerc is an underestimated driver. The way Leclerc works is not the way Hamilton will do and if Ferrari isn’t the top-team the former has the edge. Ferrari has pulled two podiums so far this season. But Briatore believes that Maranello based team’s car needs to improve for any driver to make a significant difference.

Oliver Bearman’s to join Ferrari rumors has been ruled out by Fred Vasseur

Oliver Bearman performed brilliantly at the Saudi Arabian GP. The Englishman finished ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris. Many people have started believing in his potential and wished that perhaps he should get the Ferrari seat in 2025. The team principal while addressing the possibility stated that it’s still too early to decide.

He will do a couple of FP1s with us and Haas during the season and all of you, including me, in six months' time we won't speak any more about Jeddah, we'll speak about Mexico, Brazil [sic], and if he's doing well or not. And every single day will be a new challenge. But for sure, if he's keeping the same approach as today, it will go well.

As of this moment, Ferrari has their hands full with, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton having a multi-year contract. According to the team principal, Hamilton hasn’t joined the team yet, so there is no point in speaking about what Ferrari’s future holds after him.
