Ferrari’s fifth manager in over ten years is Fred Vasseur. The Frenchman’s goal is to make the most illustrious F1 team world champions once more. Ferrari, the all-time favorite team, has amazing facilities, an enticing line-up of drivers, and the financial capacity to thrive. But they haven’t succeeded in winning a World Championship. The team’s current hope is Frederic Vasseur.

The new team principal has his ‘first’ interview with YOUCAR. He spoke about his first days in the new position, his initial thoughts on the team, the season’s objectives, and his connection with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, the drivers. “It is important in my position to know the maximum of people.” says Frederic Vasseur talking about his main focus. He is focusing on communication within the team to avoid any future misunderstandings and conflicts.

Although Fred is prepared to take on the job, the first several weeks as principal were fairly demanding. He will work on bettering his grasp of the driver’s emotions and state of mind. For him, having the same lineup makes everything simpler and better.

Vasseur promises a competitive season. Ferrari is prepared to compete fiercely with the best teams on the field. He is optimistic about his ability to lead Ferrari as team principal and will remain dedicated from Day 1. While discussing the new car he says, “The car will red.” Keeping the Ferrari fans wondering. The Frenchman is committed. He will assist the team get back on track.

Vasseur’s power over the team was said to be limited, with chairman John Elkann and CEO Benedetto Vigna taking on a bigger responsibility for the team’s day-to-day operations. But Vasseur is clear on his role as the team principal. He acknowledges all the parties involved. Fred says, “The Gestione Sportiva, the team, is part of the bigger organization of Ferrari. I have a CEO, and it’s Benedetto Vigna, and I have a chairman [Elkann] for the company, and the situation is crystal clear.” Vasseur also stated that he and Vigna are coordinating closely to achieve a smoother operation than in the past.

Vasseur admits that he needs to report to the group’s chairman. He agrees that people always have a supervisor and Fred has dealt with this situation before. He respects and communicates with everyone on the team and will continue to do the same, even though there is a bit of speculation and statements. Although it seems apparent that Ferrari’s newly hired team principal, Fred Vasseur, will be in control of the Scuderia’s Formula 1 team.
