Frederic Vasseur was made the boss at the Scuderia’s F1 team following a string of disappointing seasons for Ferrari. Mattia Binotto was fired after criticism of not putting up a stronger fight against the Red Bulls. Vasseur was set at the helm soon after to set out looking for achievements that bode well with the Prancing horse’s history in the sport.
However, the latest rumours launched by Umberto Zapelloni in the columns of “Top Speed Blog” sights that Ferrari are headed for another shake-up. He suggests two important figures could leave Maranello by the end of the season, them being Vasseur and the CEO Benedetto Vigna. Zapelloni underlines that such rumours often surface and drown out , so nothing official is hinted at by his suggestions.
He is keen to point out that there were similar rumours last year with former team principal Mattia Binotto – which stood the test of time. It remains to be seen if Ferrari does fire Frederic Vasseur wanting faster growth.

Fred Vasseur applauds Max Verstappen over two faultless years
The Ferrari team boss recently pointed out Max Verstappen’s brilliance as he looks back on his faultless two years. Vasseur said, “What is most impressive for me is that Max – and not just in the last 10 races but over the last two years – hasn’t made a single mistake.” Fred commends how Verstappen hasn’t put a foot wrong in even the qualifying sessions.“Over two seasons, that’s just mega.” added Vasseur.
The reigning World Champion has won 20 of the last 24 races, and 27 of 34 going back to the start of last season. That is, we believe, quite ‘mega’ indeed.
