Mercedes newbie George Russell has been making news headlines right and left because of his impressive performance in the Merc W13 in his debut year with the team. But now, the F1 driver has been featured in the reports for taking some days off for a romantic retreat with his girlfriend Carmen Montero Mundt before the Briton is scheduled to be back in his racing overalls to practice for the upcoming Azerbaijan Grand Prix in a week’s time.
All F1 fans are always curious to know about the lives of their favorite racers off the racetrack and away from the F1 paddocks. While drivers like Aston Martin’s Sebqstian Vettel have always been very private about their personal lives, George Russell has flaunted his picture-perfect relationship with University of Westminster alum Carmen Montero on all his social medial walls.
Now, the fans have noticed Carmen has posted three pictures of her and George Russell enjoying some reclusive time together, and their background shows a beautiful location that is set amidst the mountains.

In a post that has received thousands of likes and comments from well wishers on Instagram, Carmen Mundt is seen cuddling with George Russell as they enjoy their time admiring Nature in a picturesque location that is set amidst the mountains.

Carmen has captioned the post as “Calm before the storm..” It is probably indicative of the busy schedule that the F1 racers have to follow as they have to race in a different country every other weekend. And whenever they get some time away from racing, they indulge in family time, or some adventure sports, as in the case of McLaren racer Daniel Ricciardo.
George Russell always makes the most of his holidays as he is often seen vacationing with girlfriend Carmen Mundt whenever the F1 calendar allows for a two-week-long break between two consecutive Grands Prix. A few months ago, the British racer was spotted with Mundt in St. Bart’s where the F1 couple was taking a stroll along the beach when the fans spotted them.
