The racing calendar for Formula 1 racing includes 23 races this season and also six sprint race weekends. But the China GP is supposed to see a return to racing following the 4-year absence due to COVID. 24 races are the standard limit for a Formula 1 season, as declared by F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali in 2022. The Haas team leader, Guenther Steiner, recalled the limit of races and commented on it.
According to Guenther Steiner, the most important thing to Formula One is their fans, and that is why they must adapt to their tastes. He added that if F1 were to include 24 races, they run the risk of making the fans ‘tired’ and not ‘liking it more’. As reported by soymotor.com, Steiner said, “Fans are our priority because we have a product that people want to see.” Steiner also added, “Right now, there seems to be no saturation as the races are different.”
He added that 24 races are the limit in accordance with the way the teams are organized. He said, “24 races; I think that is the limit, seeing how the teams are organized today.” Steiner also added that it all depends on the fan’s preference for the number of races and that they will provide them as per their needs. He also said, “If the fans love us, we have to; we are here for them, and we are nothing without them.”

Guenther Steiner’s opinion on American involvement in the sport
Haas is the sole American team on the grid, and Logan Sargeant, racing for Williams, is also the only American to partake in Formula One after 2015. It seems that American involvement might increase in Formula 1, and all this seems to work out in the favor of Steiner.
As Haas is an American team, it is obvious about the team’s love for American involvement in the sport. Ahead of the Austin GP at COTA, Steiner commented that all three American circuits are very crucial to all the teams. He said, “It is very important for us to have three careers in the United States.” And he even added that he was happy to visit the COTA circuit.
Steiner commented about the big sponsors that join the grid due to the American race weeks. He calls the American economy the ‘largest economy’, “It is the largest economy in the world, so we want Formula 1 to be stronger and stronger there.” According to him, American involvement is very important for Formula 1.
