“He can build on this strong performance, ” Mick Schumacher collects compliments from Timo Glock after his first ever points in F1

Max Verstappen and Mick Schumacher
Timo Glock, after a P8 finish of Mick Schumacher in the British Grand Prix, shared his happiness in the column. After Mick fought for the 7th position to the merciless Max Verstappen but lost after a well-fought battle till the line. He settled for four points but that still mattered for the Haas team.
Mick scored the first points of his career after almost spending one and a half year in Formula 1. At a point, things were getting frustrated for the driver and were a rumour of his replacements after this season. He still came close to scoring points many times this season but was left nothing after his own mistakes, reliability and bad luck bashed him away.
“I even had goose bumps at times during the two or three laps with Verstappen just before the end. Mick did that very cleverly too. He kept checking if there was a chance, didn’t do anything rash, but tried again aggressively at the end. Max is merciless in that respect. Mick pulled out at the right moment and got the points, which were important not only for him but also for the team,” Glock said.
Timo Glock has high expectations from Mick Schumacher for the Austrian Grand Prix

After a good points finish in the British Grand Prix, now next is the Austrian Grand Prix and Timo thinks high for Schumacher to score some more points for his season.
“I think this can give him a boost. And the good thing is that now, with the Austrian Grand Prix, there is another race weekend coming up soon where he can build on this strong performance. I am very happy for him,” Glock wrote.
He also talked about the reaction in the paddock after Schumacher got his first points, “The whole paddock was happy for him because it had been going on for far too long,” Timo concluded.
Mick is still far from his teammate, who is on P12 with 16 points but Schumacher got his chance now to prove and be next to his teammate.
