Max Verstappen has been romping his competition left and right during the 2023 F1 season. He has operated in a league of his own, but despite this fact, Mercedes boss, Toto Wolff recently took a jibe at him and said the meaningless ten consecutive race wins record is only going to look good in Wikipedia.
While Toto Wolff made his feelings known regarding Max Verstappen’s record in Italy, his wording has not sat well with the Red Bull team adviser, Helmut Marko. The Austrian ardently feels that Red Bulls’ competitors are simply sulking, seeing their dominant run at the pinnacle of motor racing.
While sharing his views on Wolff’s comments, Marko told NEXT-GEN Auto, “Wikipedia is one of the most read mediums – maybe someone can tell Wolff. We look at our own team to get the best performance. We just go about our business without making up all these kinds of stories like they do. But we don’t worry about Mercedes as long as they are not a serious rival for us.“
Helmut Marko has left no stone unturned in ridiculing the lights of Lewis Hamilton and Toto Wolff. Moreover, he has also made it known that the personnel at Red Bull do not bother themselves with the outside noise; they are only focused on getting better and better and continuing their dominant run for as long as possible.

While Red Bull’s competitors have tried almost everything to bring their hype train to a halt, it seemed very unlikely that any other teams would be able to stop them in the remaining eight races of the 2023 season as well. The Milton-Keynes-based team has produced a gem in the form of the RB19, and every other team has been forced to bow in front of it.
Moreover, the reigning F1 World Champion, Max Verstappen, has jelled extremely well with the car, and this is one of the main reasons he is currently on a winning streak of ten consecutive races. He has been able to put his car through the absolute wringer at every race this year.
The 2023 Singapore Grand Prix is just around the corner, and considering the war of words that’s been going on between Toto Wolff and the Red Bull group, the latter is going to be highly pumped up to do their talking at the Marina Bay F1 circuit. It is the first street race of the second leg, and seeing the RB19 sparkling his magic around the tricky track would be a fascinating watch.
