“I don’t know any leader that says how things are at home,” Lewis Hamilton showers massive praise on leadership ability of Toto Wolff

Toto Wolff and Lewis Hamilton
Lewis Hamilton, ahead of the United States Grand Prix, has praised the Mercedes Team Principal, Toto Wolff, and has indicated that he has got tremendous leadership ability.
The duo has been working together at the Brackley-based team for several years, and Lewis Hamilton, who has shared quite a lot of time with Wolff in the team garage, knows very well about the qualities that the 50-year-old possesses.
While applauding Wolff, Hamilton said, “The core group of people just has heart communication throughout the organization. Toto is very focused as a leader who really elevates people.”
“I don’t know any other leader, that I have worked with at least, that goes and says, hey, how are things at home, how can I help, support you better, so you have more time with your family, wife, partner, with the kids so that you can come to work and be happy and want to commit more, that’s who Toto is.“
He further adds, “So I think, it’s that and because of that, there is a general hunger within the team. I’d like to think that we are the ones who are competing with them and being able to beat them again, I do believe that for sure.”
Lewis Hamilton’s take on having a three-way battle in 2023

While Lewis Hamilton has showered Toto Wolff with high praise for his actions as a leader, it is not the only thing that the Brit talked about ahead of the three-day carnival at COTA.
Hamilton also stressed how Ferrari has made a step up this year and his desire to ideally see a three-way battle for the Championship from 2023 onwards.
While talking about the same, Hamilton added, “I think, I really hope, that Ferrari are strong in the following years, there have been some strong signs obviously, you have seen this year, which is nice to see and it’s been nice to see Ferrari doing well again.”

“So I hope it’s more than a two-way battle from next year, there’s at least three of us, if not, surprisingly more, we will see.”
Lewis Hamilton has set his sights on the 2023 season to make a strong comeback with Mercedes and feels the completion would be more fun if Ferrari is also able to put its name in the running for the 2023 F1 Championship.
This year, only the Maranello-based team has been somewhat able to challenge the mighty Red Bull team, but from the next season onwards, the story could be completely different considering Hamilton and Co. are plotting to make a strong comeback.
