Mattia Binotto resigned from the position of Team Principal of the Scuderia Ferrari F1 Team yesterday, and since then there has been a barrage of “thank you” messages that have come the way of the Italian.
The ardent followers of the sport, from all over the globe have come up with tribute messages for Binotto, and just like the masses, Antonio Giovinazzi has also jumped on the bandwagon.
The 28-year-old via his Instagram handle has dedicated a post to Binotto and as a caption, has written, “Not many people are really important in everyone’s life.”
“We are not always aware of it and we know how to seize the right moments to say thank you. Mattia you have always been a reference, you will be and I will always be grateful.”

What’s next for Mattia Binotto in his career in F1?
Mattia Binotto is one of the most respected people in the paddock who possesses immense knowledge when it comes to F1.
His wealth of knowledge of the sport was one of the main reasons why he was appointed the Team Principal of Ferrari in the first place.
However, with him having said his adieu at Ferrari, rumors have been swirling about him joining one of the other teams on the F1 grid.
Alpine and Aston Martin are believed to be the parties who are interested in bringing the Italian on board for next season.
From the mid-filed team’s point of view, it seems logical to get Binotto on board for next year, but considering that he was serving at a top team like Ferrari for several years, there are doubts whether any offers from the mid-filed teams would entice him.
Mattia Binotto, despite not having the kind of impact he had hoped for at Ferrari, is an extremely valuable personality, and it is going to be fascinating to see what the future has in store for him.
