After a bout of bad luck in the last two seasons of Formula 1, the Scuderia Ferrari has finally unlocked the secret to becoming competitive again in the F1 World Championship. In 2020 and 2021, Ferrari’s results were scarred with race retirements and poor performances by their two racers. The team strategy was also flawed, and their cars were simply not fast enough to race with the high-performance machines of Red Bull and Mercedes.
But in the initial races of 2022, Ferrari wowed all the motorsports enthusiasts by introducing the formidable F1-75, which was earlier touted to be the car to watch out for in this season of Formula 1. But now that we are already done with eight races in this year’s schedule and we are gearing up for the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal, Ferrari’s performance seems to have gone down a rank or two than their earlier form.
Even then, House of Maranello CEO Benedetto Vigna has expressed how he feels proud and happy for the team as they have finally returned to their old competitive form once again, after their miserable form in the last two years.

Beneditto Vigna applauds the Ferrari team for their performance so far in 2022
While Ferrari was earlier named as the early Championship favorite of all the F1 pundits for this year, they have fallen back in the standings and have started showing some flaws in their strategy and performance. According to Ferrari Team Principal Mattia Binotto, “The goal for 2022 was to be competitive again, the world title is another level“.
Speaking of the team’s progress so far, CEO of the House of Maranello, Beneditto Vigna has expressed how he is happy to see Ferrari gain their old form back in 2022. He said, “Our Formula 1 team is back at the top of the starting grid and on the top step of the podium, thanks to our talented drivers and the F1-75, which has already shown its winning skills.”
He continued, “It is truly a great satisfaction for the whole team and for me to see that the hard work begins to pay off. We will continue to fight in every race, always with passion, ambition and the humility that comes from the constant desire to learn.“
