“It’s great to be racing Ferrari”: Christian Horner

Christian Horner, the team principal of Red Bull stated that it is good to be racing Ferrari this season. Scuderia Ferrari have had the dream start to this season, where in the first race itself, they managed to finish both cars on top, and currently are leading the constructors’ championship.

The only team that has been close enough to compete with Ferrari is Red Bull. Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc are the only drivers who have managed to win the races, with Verstappen winning 3 of the 5 races, and the other two were won by Leclerc.

Horner also said that it is exciting to see the youth competing in the sport, referring to Charles Lecerc’s and Max Verstappen’s amazing battle in Miami, which was ultimately won by the Dutch because of the amazing speed the Red Bulls have on straights.

Yet, after the safety car, Leclerc in the Ferrari gave a tough competition to the Red Bull, coming as close as 0.200 seconds to Verstappen.

Horner said he is positive about the return of Ferrari on top spots, after the disappointing performance of Mercedes; “It’s great to be racing Ferrari, it’s good for Formula One to have Ferrari competitive,” Horner said, quoted by GPBlog

As of now, Charles Leclerc leads the championship with 104 points, followed by Max Verstappen 85 points in the Red Bull. Ferrari leads the constructors’ championship with 157 points, followed by Red Bull with 151 points.
