Max Verstappen’s father reportedly set to miss Saudi Arabian GP after public outburst at Christan Horner

The Christian Horner saga was put to an end after Red Bull cleared the Briton of any allegations. However, the alleged massive leak reignited the issue and caused further controversy. Max Verstappen and Jos Verstappen were linked to Horner’s case. Jos Verstappen previously called out Horner on his claims and added that the Briton was playing the ‘victim’. Now, major information regarding Verstappen Sr. has surfaced to the public.

Following other rumors, the 52-year-old had a fallout with Christian Horner due to the growing tensions. However, following the major rumors regarding the Dutchman, the 52-year-old mentioned how the relationship between the two was soured due to the ongoing investigation.

Recent reports suggest that Jos Verstappen might have decided to lay low to ensure that tensions do not increase between the two. Verstappen Sr. will reportedly miss the Saudi Arabian GP this weekend. Regardless of the former F1 driver’s attendance, Max Verstappen and Red Bull will likely continue to excel in the race following the Bahrain GP victory.

Christian Horner hired lawyers to ensure he wouldn’t get sacked

The 50-year-old received a major backlash over the entire status quo. Hence, as a result, Horner has allegedly appointed lawyers to save his face. The Briton was on the verge of getting sacked from the team following the accusations. However, Horner’s lawyers brought up the specific contract clauses which led to the independent investigation.

Multiple new additions are surfacing about the status quo, with fears of Max Verstappen joining Mercedes if Horner stays at Red Bull. Nevertheless, Christian Horner will continue to lead the team heading into the next race. Things will continue as usual at Milton Keynes regardless of the allegations surrounding Horner.

Red Bull has once again developed a dominant challenger and would potentially score a perfect season. Horner’s alleged actions have not affected the team’s pace and performance yet and likely wouldn’t cause any further problems. Red Bull will continue to race as normal for now as the Briton has been cleared of any allegations currently.
