Sports has a unique way of bringing people together from various facets of life. It not only applies to the fans but also to the athletes playing in various sports. Specifically, Soccer and F1’s love story is a well-known fact as the stars from both are often seen supporting each other.

Recently for a fun segment, Italian giants, Juventus players were asked to name their favorite F1 driver, and the majority of them said Lewis Hamilton.

Hamilton is one of the most well-renowned stars across various sports and has a huge fan following all over the globe. Despite turning 39 recently, he is still as fast as ever and is looking to secure an eighth world title.

Moreover, he has been in the headlines for making a sensational move to the Maranello-based Ferrari F1 team from 2025 onwards. While it has been some time since the announcement, fans are still finding it difficult to wrap their heads around it.

Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari move has been prompted by the lack of progress at Mercedes

While the Juventus players have named Lewis Hamilton as the absolute GOAT of F1, the Brit has not been pleased with the efforts of Mercedes since 2022. Under the current set of regulations, Toto Wolff and Co. have not been able to produce Championship-worthy cars.

After enduring two tough campaigns, Hamilton finally made the decision to shake things after the end of the upcoming 2024 F1 season. However, a move to Ferrari does not guarantee success as the Italian team last won a WDC title way back in 2007 courtesy of then-driver, Kimi Raikkonen.

If the problems at Ferrari were not enough, they have also got one of the most prolific drivers in the form of the young, Charles Leclerc. If Ferrari manages to produce a strong car for 2025, it won’t be easy for Hamilton to get the better of the Monegasque driver.
